Chapin Dining Rooms 1 and 2 - capacity: 45
Intimate and private, the Chapin Dining rooms masterfully recreate
the warmth and privilege afforded the leisure class in its heyday.
Gracious living and impeccable service still exist today in these
charming rooms. Veranda seating is available for the convenience
of our smoking guests. Whether booking a party or dinner for
someone special, the Chapin Dining Rooms will enhance the success
of your event allowing all to leave feeling sated in appetite
and spirit.
The Conference Center - capacity: 35-50
 The Humphrey Conference/Activity Center was originally one of
the garage and carriage houses. The Conference Center is perfect
for your business meeting, seminar, reception or party. On
a warm evening the doors may be opened to allow the guests
to enjoy the patio in front of the building. Graced by pitosporums
the warm brick invites guests to congregate and exchange ideas.
The Center is used frequently for afternoon teas, weddings,
receptions, and was developed especially to meet the needs
of our guests planning meetings.
The Showboat Theatre - capacity: 100-250
 The Showboat provides a unique replica of the stage set from
the Broadway musical. The inside walls and ceiling are rare
pecky cypress which has a wonderful scent that permeates the
Showboat and also enhances the acoustics of the building. The
barreled ceiling not only enhances the sound, but also continues
the nautical theme of the property, as do the lovely copper
hanging ceiling lights decorated in an anchor and porpoise
motif. The Showboat is a favorite for all types of gatherings.
The Showboat can be accompanied by varying sizes of white canopies
connected to the side by a white marquee, creating an atmosphere
from casually relaxed to the most formal of gala events and
hosting most any number of guests. The interior can also be
arranged theatre style to create a wonderful setting for lectures
or panel discussions.
 Pool
House & Courtyard - capacity:
300
As you approach the Pool House, you will notice the two tridents
of Poseidon and the six symmetrical portholes that signal your
entrance to the underwater realm. Walker and Weeks, an architectural
firm from Cleveland, Ohio designed the Pool House in 1934.
The interior of the Pool House resembles a terrarium with tropical
plants growing on each end of the pool. The brick walls are
covered in creeping fig. The Pool House opens onto a marble
patio and courtyard formed by a six foot high marble capped
brick wall lined with camellias grafted in pink, dark pink,
and white. When in bloom, the camellias offer an exciting array
of colorful flowers. Situated on the back wall of the courtyard
is a marble arbor draped in wisteria. The Pool House is perfect
for your special event allowing you to be inside or outside;
it is a favorite site for any occasion.
