The Hogan Room - capacity: 12-16
 Surrounded by windows and nestled at the end of the North Wing,
the Hogan Room offers a lovely view of the Sunken Gardens,
the Formal Gardens, and the Marble Fish Pool. This gracious
room has excellent light from the elongated windows situated
on three of the four walls. Its graceful furnishings add to
the overall ambiance of comfort and style. Perfect for a meeting
or a limited dining group, the Hogan Room is certain to please.
The Marble Fish Pool - capacity: 150
During the restoration the height of the marble in the center
of the pool was increased to enhance the flow of the fountain.
The fish atop the marble is the original ornament placed there
by the Hanna's in the 1920's. The landscaping surrounding this
area creates a lovely, secluded spot for your intimate gathering.
Brides love the marble pool, surrounded by white wooden chairs
and secluded areas framed by large camellias, for food or beverage
gatherings.
The Gardens - capacity: 100
The Sunken Garden, upon which one may gaze from the bay window
in the Hanna Room, is a traditional, formal English garden
not typically found in the South. The garden progresses from
white, to pink, to multi-colored flora as one nears the North
Pasture. This garden is used today for weddings, receptions,
and special events. The Garden comfortably holds 180 white
wooden chairs leaving a four-foot aisle.
 The Formal Garden, built by Mel Hanna, Sr., along with the Sunken
Garden recreates a typical English labyrinthine style. One look
at the height of the shrubs growing against the entrance to the
Hogan Room will give a good impression of the age of the garden
itself. Indeed, the nearby Burford holly, draped in moss, is
probably one of the largest one will ever see. This garden is
a lovely setting for a garden tea, evening cocktail party or
elegant wedding or reception.
